The vacuum relief valve is designed to maintain the highest vacuum desired without causing overheating of the pump. Valve can be set for less than maximum vacuum thus allowing the pump to have some interior air circulation which will help cool the pump.

The pressure relief valve protects vacuum/pressure systems from excess pressure. Valve is adjustable to permit proper setting for different applications.
