Chemical Hose

Working pressures are in accordance with RMA design safety factors at ambient temperatures (approx 70F). Milwaukee Rubber cautions against using a hose outside the stated temperature limits. Even within these limits, coupling type & hose size can negatively impact performance at higher temperatures. For optimum performance and safety, we recommend reducing the maximum working pressure as indicated below: 80 to 150F - Reduce working pressure by 15% 150 to 225F - Reduce working pressure by 30% Over 225F - Reduce working pressure by 50% NOTE: Working pressures reflect a permanent type of coupling such as a swage or internally expanded. For banded type couplings, the working pressure should reflect 65% of the ratings listed. Caution: Consult the Chemical Resistance Chart and Safety Warning for each application. It is advisable to test the tube material under actual service conditions prior to initial use. Thank you.
